Your Privacy Policy is Important to Us

Thank you for visiting our website. This policy explains the what, how and why of the information we collect when you visit this site. It also explains the specific way we use and disclose that information. We take your privacy very seriously, and never sell lists or email addresses.

DEFINITIONS
Teaching Together Chicago is a program of Center for Independence through Conductive Education, Inc., an Illinois nonprofit under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. It is the policy of the Center for Independence through Conductive Education (CFI) to respect the privacy of all website visitors to the extent permitted by law. The Center's main web server does not collect personal information about visitors. In particular, we do not use "cookies" to collect information.

However, we feel you should know that when you access the TTC/CFI website, the Center’s web server automatically gathers information regarding browser type, operating system, IP address and the domain name used by the visitor. CFI may use this information to analyze trends, to create statistics for the purpose of determining technical design specifications and to identify system performance or problem areas.

YOUR INFORMATION
Personal information that you provide by email or through other online means, such as a response to an inquiry or a request for information, is used only for purposes necessary to serve your requests. This may involve redirecting your inquiry or comment to another person or department better suited to meeting your needs.

CFI will only release personal information, when legally required, to help law enforcement investigations, legal
proceedings, or internal investigations.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, the Center has put into place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our site may contain links to external websites. CFI is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such websites.

SECURITY
If a security breach causes an unauthorized intrusion into our system that materially affects you, then the Center for Independence Though Conductive Education will notify you as soon as possible and later report the action we took in response.

Donations are received and processed through a secure vendor who is certified as compliant with card association security initiatives.
