School Participation

Each participating school offers opportunities for the intern to build job skills, preparing the intern for community employment. The school hires the intern as an employee for a 10-week session and pays the intern at least minimum wage. Schools are encouraged to identify candidates within their parish or community.

Jobs performed by the intern depend on the needs of the school and the unique abilities and gifts of the intern.

  • Library Assistant
  • Maintenance Assistant
  • Classroom Assistant (High School, Middle School or Elementary School)
